The National Voters Day

The National Voters Day (NVD) will be celebrated in the Consulate General of India, Zanzibar on January 25, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.  The National Voters Day Pledge will be administered to overseas electors in the ceremony.

Bharat Ko Janiye (Know India Quiz) will be conducted from 16-31 October 2018.

Bharat Ko Janiye (Know India Quiz) will be conducted from 16-31 October 2018. Questions will be of general nature about Indian culture etc. Prizes/award will be given by the High Commission of India, Dar es Salaam. The three winners from Tanzania will join the second/third/fourth rounds. The winners will get the chance to go to India. There are three categories – PIOs (People of Indian Origin), NRIs (Indian Passport Holders) aged 15 to 35 years and foreign nationals. Online registration may be done at the earliest on https:www.bharatkojaniye.in/home/register.

The cut-off date for registration process has been extended till 15 November 2018 (local time). The 1st round of Quiz test, however, will be open for the contestants from 16 October to 15 November, 2018 (local time), which means from 16 October to 15 November, one can register and participate in the Quiz process.
